The Global Peace Foundation (GPF) is an international nonprofit organization with a mission to promote “an innovative, values-based approach to peacebuilding, guided by the vision of One Family under God.” GPF partners with government ministries, community and faith-based organizations and United Nations offices to develop and execute programs in 20 countries including Uganda.
Government of Uganda in partnership with Global Peace Foundation (GPF), Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU), Interreligious Council of East Africa Secretariat and Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) were preparing for the Global Peace Leadership Conference 2018, a summit that attracted over 1000 participants from different parts of the world. The conference was held from 1st – 2nd of August 2018 in Munyonyo Resort Hotel Kampala, under the theme “Moral and Innovative Leadership: New Models for Sustainable Peace and Development”
